 We found that the service in the hotel is really excellent. All the staff are absolutely friendly and pleasant. they were often kidding with our Son and we all had often fun together .Everything in this hotel we felt like our home, The buffet breakfastt was excellent with lot of Vietnamese delicous food . The rooms are very comfortable, a large bed for sleeping, The aircon work well. The bathroom is very comfortable and really nice.! Maybe it would be better to have a window in the bathroom, that you don`t have to switch on the light in day time. We would like to say that this is a luxury mini hotel in Hanoi because we already stayed in another hotel before we moved to Phu Do Hotel. Strongly recomemd this hotel for family with children

j'avais eu l'occasion d'aller au Viet nam dans un court séjour. Moi et ma famille sommes restés en trois jours à l'hotel "Phudo" situé en centre de veilleuse ville de capitale Hanoi. Il se trouvé dans une petite rue, proximité tellement des points touristiques intéressants. Une parfaite satisfaction de ses services, de la localisation,du garage ...(confortables chambres et lumineuse, calmes avec les meubles mis, salle de bain équipés ; internet gratuit disponible 24/24h ...).
Surtout, un PRIX ACCEPTABLE !
Alors, n'hésitez pas à prendre une de ces chambres.
Vous serez contents de ce choix.

nous avons beaucoup aimé la gentillesse de l'accueil, le calme de la première chambre que nous avons occupée en haut au fond,avec les volets en bois,la petite terrasse et le chant
des oiseaux pour se réveiller,le bon petit buffet de petit-déjeûner,le service des bagages et l'aide pour les monter en chambre ou les garder pendant nos excursions;au retour nous avons apprécié les efforts de rénovation d'une chambre en haut devant,il ne manquerait que des doubles fenêtres à cause de la rue et de ses klaxons qui sont très tôt le réveil typique de Hanoï,mais la propreté,l'éclairage et la salle de douches neuves étaient un plaisir! peut-être qu'un pliant
pour poser la valise serait bien venu on n'ose pas salir les couettes si blanches et les jolies bandes satinées brodées, on oserait juste y reposer les pieds! Bref on a envie d'y retourner et pourquoi pas organiser son voyage à partir du bureau de l' hôtel, direct et efficace! Bravo et c'est avec des prix maintenus autour de 25$ très correct et après l'animation insensée et colorée de la ville un lieu pour se retrouver et se reposer entre les découvertes de la ville et du pays si fascinant! On espère revenir bientôt au Vietnam et bien sûr au Phudo Hotel! une surprise sur le toît, la petite pagode aperçue!...

I booked this hotel at the airport in Hanoi. I was thrilled with the location and the service at the Phudo Hotel. The staff were really helpful and friendly and arranged for a private city tour with two local guides (Pink and Thien who were both awesome). I used the hotel for all available services including laundry and internet and even the free breakfast and all were beyond my expectations. I would definately stay in this hotel again. You can't go wrong with this place.

My brother lives is Hanoi and made travel arrangements for my father and myself for a 3 week stay. The staff were very helpful in storing our luggage when we went on side trips for a few days. Our room were always ready upon our return. The air conditioning was a welcome ammenity after a long day of sightseeing during the hot and humid days of September.The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location allowed us to walk to many places which gave us a good feel for the city. the staff was very friendly and answered oru many questions with great patience. I would stay at this hotel on a return trip to Hanoi.

Although I and my family have just stayed at the Hanoi PhuDo Hotel for 03 nights, I found this is an excellent place I have ever been experienced. Its service and location is truly 4 star hotel: nice, clean, luxurious room, with great location, easy access to many cultural and historic places,also restaurents, fashion shops,eg. I would definitely suggest that Phudo Hotel is right place for your joyful trip to Hanoi Vietnam!

We have experienced the wonderful time in Phudo Hotel _ very nice hotel , clean rooms with comfortable beds .During our stay there for 3 nites , we feel as we stay home . The hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful . Even though , there was no restaurant here but Kien _ the receptionist went out at night to buy a bow of Pho for my wife when she was sick . Strong recommend this hotel to tourists

We really enjoyed our stay at Phu Do Hotel due to its excellent staff who were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very new and is run by young, professional and enthusiastic people who speak good English. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean with air con and good hot showers.
The hotel is ideally located in the centre of town.
The staff could not do enough for us during our stay. We booked our Halong Bay cruise and Sapa trip through the hotel which were both highly enjoyable and well organised. The hotel also helped us to purchase our onward flights to HCMC.
We would definitely come back and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi. The hotel proved excellent value with breakfast included.

PhuDo is an excellent Hotel. We arrived early morning by longtime airplane from France. We had reserved a Deluxe room with one extra bed. At the time we arrived they didn’t have room available because check in time is 12 PM but they gave us free buffet breakfast and 1 small room for shower and relax while waiting for our room. When we checked in we were supprised with our room. The Great view from 4 floor. We stayed in PhuDo hotel for 3 nights before starting Our Trip around Vietnam in 20 days. When we came back to our country we realized that PhuDo hotel is the best place in our trip: clean, fun, helpful staff and warm with design in Vietnamese style. We will defenitely stay at this hotel again.

This year I visited the PhuDo Hotel two times: in January and November 2008. But the first visit was in January 2007, when the name of the hotel was Fortuan.
I and my wife always felt very good here: friendly personnel, comfortable room and beds, good co-operation and arrangements in cases of travels.
In fact, we have our room at this hotel, like home.
Prices are resonable, breakfast of a good quality, room cleanliness at high standards.
The hotel is placed in a very convenient location.
Every time we will come back with a great pleasure and I recommended the hotel to my friends.

Located this hotel initially from Tripadvisor.It was a good choice.
Booked online only a few weeks before arriving in early November.
Two couples, 60ish and first trip to Vietnam and first stop in Vietnam so we arrived with some trepidation.

Phudo arranged transfers to and from airport and on arrival staff could not do enough to welcome us.

Located in heart of old quarter and an easy walk to most places if you wish.

Rooms were clean, (crisp sheets, good beds), comfortable and cheerful with fruit and flowers provided. Breakfast more than adequate and free internet access.

Front desk staff happy to help with locations around town, hail a cab, cyclo, and give an estimation of costs and generally tried to protect us from being ripped off.

David Trung and staff booked excellent value side trips to Sapa and Halong Bay at far lower costs than we could obtain from travel agents back home. At the last minute on the morning of departure booked bus tickets from HCMC to Phnom Penh for about half the price of some of the local Hanoi travel agents.

All up an enjoyable small hotel, more like 5 star service even though only listed as 2 star for under $40/night!
